Conex Advisory Team Members

The Conex Team welcomes advisory memberships to validate our relevancy to the various problems professionals and clients face. Regular meetings are held once a quarter to discuss purpose driven business topics that help the company with strategic planning and product development.

Steven Fuller, Ph.D., D.O.

Dr. Fuller attended college at Michigan State University where he received his B.A. in music literature, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physiology, and D.O. degree in human medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and from there he completed a 4 year Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Fuller then moved to Annapolis where he practiced Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine for 5 years. For the following 10 years he practiced as a Critical Care specialist in the Washington, D.C. area and focused on the post operative critical care of patients undergoing open heart surgery. He next assisted in developing a Critical Care program in a community hospital in Baltimore before coming to Idaho in 2008 where he has practiced in local hospitals until 2011.

Dr. Fuller’s current focus is partnering with medical and social networks to prevent hospital readmissions. He has a strong interest in implementing state-of-the-art telemedicine services in novel and creative ways to improve healthcare delivery.

Stewart Lawrence , M.D. M.B.A. F.A.A.P

Medical Director, Mountain States Neonatology and St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Newborn Intensive Care Unit

Dr. Lawrence attended college at Wesleyan University of Middletown, Connecticut where he received a B.A. in Biology, followed an M.D. from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. He trained as a pediatric intern and resident at Duke University Medical Center and completed a 3-year fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center, where he engaged in developmental biology research, culminating in publications in Pediatric Research.

Dr. Lawrence is boarded in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and has served in many leadership positions, including, most recently, Physician Leader of the Integrated Delivery Council and Director of Telemedicine at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Dr. Lawrence’s experience in telemedicine, in conjunction with his participation in a proposed video conferencing initiative as a project toward his recent completion of an M.B.A. at Boise State University, has been the source of his interest in Conex.

Raymond Otto, M.D., F.A.C.E.P., U.H.M.

Medical Director, Hyperbaric Medicine, ELK’s Wound Center

Specialties: Emergency Medicine, Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care
Dr. Otto relocated to Boise in April 2006. He is the Hyperbaric Medical Director for the ELK’s Wound Center. In addition, he serves as the President of the medical staff at Southwest Advanced Care Hospital , where he is also the medical director of the wound care program.

Dr. Otto is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Hyperbaric Medicine. He has been in the field of Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care since 1999. Prior to 1999, he was an Emergency Medicine physician in Wisconsin and Ohio and a helicopter flight physician in Ohio.

Dr. Otto is a clinical instructor for the University of Washington. He has also held teaching positions at the Medical College of Wisconsin, as well as taught residents from the University of Wisconsin Hospital System.

Rem Fox

Rem FoxMr. Fox began his technology career in 1990 working for Hewlett Packard. During Mr. Fox’s tenure at HP he worked several years on developing Data Networking and Telecommunications solutions for the company’s internal use. Mr. Fox collaborated and led many cutting edge projects of significance including telephony over ATM and video conferencing with three dimensional product imagery.

In late 2002, Mr. Fox was sought out by Comcast (formally AT&T Broadband) to design a metro area network that delivered educational services to all public service and educational entities. This work earned him Portland’s first ever city service award to a cable company. 

In recent years, as a Chief Information Officer, Mr. Fox has implemented new technology to drive business solutions that employ creativity, durability and cost effectiveness. His signature attribute is his ability to design technology solutions that are intuitive for the user and powerful with purpose.
 
Mr. Fox completed undergraduate and graduate studies in Telecommunications Engineering, and Technology Management.
